COMPETITIVE SHOCK made the pace about the two or three path while pressed, shook off a bid from ARYTON in the far turn to edge clear into the lane and drew away under steady handling. ARYTON stalked the pace three to four wide to bid through the far turn but could not go with the winner in the lane. COVERT QUALITY stalked the pace four wide in good position but lacked a final closing run. CAVANAL moved up four wide going to the far turn but could not close the gap in the lane. BRODY'S CHROME forced the pace outside the winner to late backstretch and weakened. SAN ANTON (IRE) moved four and five wide to get within reach going to the far turn but could not threaten late. MALIBREW tracked the pace four to five wide and gave way. NO SOY BORRACHO saved ground and tired.
