Chart notes
RODAVLAS hustled up after a slow start to join REGAINED POWER on the front end, battled gamely through the stretch, then finally put away that rival inside the sixteenth marker. BIG D was briefly on the pace, lost ground early on the turn, then came back on three-wide in the stretch, was closing the gap on the leader, but came up short and had to settle for second. REGAINED POWER broke best, made the early lead, but was quickly joined by RODAVLAS, dueled tinside of that rival to deep stretch, then gave way inside the sixteenth marker. GAME SANTA chased the dueling leaders from the third position after a bit of a slow start, went three to four wide through the turn and into the stretch, then faltered. WOLF HUNTER dropped way off the pace after a level start and was always outrun. This 1/4-mile fraction was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
