Chart notes
ILLY SIMZ hustled away to a clear early lead, dueled with SPIRIT TO INSPIRE through the stretch, then edged ahead in the final yards. SPIRIT TO INSPIRE tracked three-wide into the turn, moved up to challenge ILLY SIMZ approaching the quarter pole, dueled with that one throughout the stretch, then yielded late. BALLYBAY BEAUTY last initially, moved up through the turn, kept to task to gain third. CAME UP ROSES dropped back to the rear of the field after a good start, saved ground throughout, and finished with some late interest up the rail. GREAT OWL raced close up to the stretch, then flattened out. GREEN GRACE chased at the back of the field and was never involved. This 1/4-mile fraction was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
