Chart notes
BIG POP drafted back off the leaders and settled in the clear, edged up mid turn and had aim on the embattled trio, angled out leaving the three sixteenths and responded to a single left handed ask, rolled up to engage TRAVELIN WITCH leaving the furlong grounds, wrested command soon past the sixteenth marker then drew clear under a hand ride. TRAVELIN WITCH , urged from the gate to get forward position, tracked the pace, attacked along the rail mid turn, shook clear while guided off the inside in upper stretch, was unable to contain the winner's outer charge but kept on well to the wire. STORMYLUX sped to the front, set the pace two wide, was hooked from both sides mid turn, drifted out into the lane and faded. TEXAS WENDY broke a step slow, saved ground off the pace, remained inside into the stretch but failed to drum up a serious rally. STANFORD HOLIDAY prompted three wide outside the leader, raced three deep mid turn, was fanned wider into the stretch, failed to kick on and tired through the final furlong.
