PRETTY FAST took charge of a narrow lead three wide shortly after the start, vied for command with IRON IN THE FIRE through the turn, shook that one off in the upper stretch, kept on task to fend off a late rally. ONCOMING TRAIN opted to be the early trailer, entered the stretch five wide and rallied well to earn the place honors. IRON IN THE FIRE pressed the early pace from the two path, vied for command with PRETTY FAST through the turn, gave way at the top of the stretch and chased on down the lane. SAND STREET stalked the early pace four wide, flattened out in the stretch. LO LO'S LAUGHTER repositioned along the inside and moved up to press the pace at the half mile marker, backed off midway through the turn, retreated down the stretch.
