BIG NICKEL was forwardly placed in the four path, roused at the quarter, sustained a rally down the stretch to be up just in time. MAYBE EYE'LL CALL took charge under pressure from LOUISIANA WILDLIFE, began to pull away in the upper stretch before being ran down by BIG NICKEL in the final furlong and got nailed at the wire. RUNFORJUSTICE found a forward position between runners, brushed out LOUISIANA BOSS at the top of the stretch before finding his best stride late. LOUISIANA BOSS settled off the pace, gained five wide through the turn to enter the stretch in a prominent position, brushed out by RUNFORJUSTICE at the three sixteenths, kept on but was out-finished for the show award. TAP THE TEQUILA brushed with inner foe at the start, settled off the pace, split foes rounding the turn and angled out into the eight path, flattened out. DIXIE'S ASTRO settled back to be the early trailer, swung to the far outside of stretch, brushed with CONTRABAND EARLY in the upper stretch, closed willingly. MY DAD'S GUITAR raced off the pace, angled out rounding the turn and brushed into CONTRABAND EARLY, passed retreating foes. LOUISIANA WILDLIFE pressed the pace from the three path, faded in the final furlong. GYPSY SQUALL brushed with outer foe at the start, was rated along the inside, lacked a response, retreated. JOSEPH H moved up along the inside to stalk the pace briefly, tracked the pace a couple lengths back in the turn, retreated down the stretch. GIVE ME A TRY tracked the pace five wide in the early stages, retreated through the turn, showed little in the stretch. CONTRABAND EARLY found early position around the middle of the pack, backed off through the turn, pinched back at the top of the stretch.
