Chart notes
CITY OF GOD settled off the pace between foes, cued through the turn and split the dueling leaders at the top of the lane, drew clear. LARRY THE POET chased the early pace setter, moved up to contest the pace four wide in the upper stretch but was outkicked late. MYSTIC POWER raced off the pace three wide, took to the outside of the stretch, showed a rally that just missed second. ALVIN raced off the pace on the inside, trailed briefly, passed tired foes. FREEDOM ATTACK was sent to the early lead, fought hard in the upper stretch to maintain his lead but ultimately gave way at the eighth. SMILE LIKE KYLE raced off the pace four wide, never threatened.
