Chart notes

CHARLOTTE'S SPIDER forced the pace, gained narrow lead up the back stretch run, was headed in the stretch but fought back gamely to prevail under stiff pressure. GO WATER raced forwardly while three wide, lodged a bid far on the turn, gained a narrow lead in the stretch, stayed on well but missed. LOOKOUT PASS outpaced while five wide, advanced far on the far turn and stayed on in the stretch. CONTESSA'S SONG led early, was outpaced on the far turn and got outfinished for the show spot. I GET STORMED was outpaced while five wide and proved no factor. NALA chased between rivals and offered no response when asked. STORMY DAME was always outrun. GARAVANI dislodged her rider as starting gate opened. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE STEWARDS CONDUCTING AN INQUIRY INTO THE START AND DETERMINED GARAVANI CAUSED HER OWN MISHAP.
