Chart notes
ALBERTUS broke sharp, pressing the pace early on, away from the gates, racing along the outside, then dueled for the lead around the turn and drew clear in late stretch to win handily. HOLD MY SCOTCH broke well, making the lead early, then dueled with ALBERTUS, from the inside around the turn and the head of the stretch, but gave way midway down the lane. EYE FOR AN EYE was near the back in the early goings, angling in around the turn and rallied down the lane to get up for show. LUCKY AND GONE got off slow from the break, then angled out around the turn and closed willingly but it was not enough. BAD BOY ONE chased the pace down the backstretch, racing on the outside, but failed to respond down the lane. KING OF COUNTRY was mid field, between horses and had no late run. HOMER WELLS stalked the pace down the backstretch, but faded in the turn.
