Chart notes
CAPS AND CARNAGE was sent to the front to set the pace with a clear lead, came under pressure in the drive and drew clear late. TIJUANA MONEY chased inside, angled out on the turn, bid willingly to challenge, veered in near the sixteenth pole, dropped back and settled for place. WHAT A THRILL raced mid pack in a wide trip, offered a mild bid only and got up for show. IT'S YESENIA trailed the field while racing inside, was in tight entering the turn, angled out and offered a mild bid to improve position. POLAR PATROL raced mid pack in an even effort and failed to threaten. CAPS D'ORO chased the pace, weakened in the drive and faded from contention. VIVA LA TIGRESS lagged early, swung wide leaving the turn and improved position. R PRADA had brief speed only. TIJUANA FACTOR lost his footing at the start to break slowly and was outrun. MALIBU TIGER broke in, showed speed to the turn and gave way. The stewards' posted an inquiry concerning possible interference in the stretch. No change was made.
