Chart notes

JUSTIFIED GIFT prompted the pace three wide and then moved up down the backside to vie for command and then bumped with TAP THIS WAY entering the far turn and made a two wide bid to shake clear leaving the three sixteenth and then widened the margin by the furlong marker and remained clear to prove best, driving. TREASURED TIMES stumbled significantly at the break, recovered and tracked the pace from between rivals, remained covered up entering the far turn and then made a two to three wide run on far turn to be in contention, but idled leaving the quarter pole and came four wide into the lane and ran on willingly but had to settle for being clearly second best. BON VIVANT was allowed to settle early three wide on the first turn, then had outside pursuit and was four to five wide on the far turn, then was along for the show award. TAP THIS WAY set the pace on the inside and then vied for command by the nine sixteenths and then was bumped entering the far turn by the winner, fell back leaving the three sixteenths and came two wide into the lane and by the furlong marker and weakened. WHIRLAWAR tracked the pace on the rail on the first turn, shuffled back on the backside and fell back on the turn, swung wide leaving the turn and tired. SLICEAWAY tracked the pace three to four wide and tired.
