Chart notes
PATERNO bumped with an outer foe at the start, dueled for the lead between foes in the three path, held command while being cued passing the quarter, forged clear passing the furlong grounds, and held off a late charging outer foe. CLARELY TOM chased in the two path, angled out to the four path under a drive passing the quarter, and ran on from the five path down the stretch for place. BUZZ ADAMS pressed in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the turn, faded while back in the four path down the lane, but held show. SHARON'S PRINCE trailed inside, was pushed along the rail around the turn, and finished on one pace down the stretch to pass a tired outer pair. BEJUCO hopped then bumped with an inner foe at the start, was wellback in the five path early but made no impact. ARTIST MARK vied for the lead in the two path but gave way in the stretch.
