Chart notes
EYE CANDY WARRIOR laid up close behind the leading duo, was roused from the three path passing the three-eighths pole, took aim while being driven from the four path into the lane, kicked on to bid passing the furlong grounds, and drew ahead in the final sixteenth. VINO AMORE steadied at the start, trailed early, split foes while under a ride in the three path passing the quarter, angled out to the five path in upper stretch, and rallied for place. BELLE OFTHE WOOD set the pace in the two path, was cued along the inside midway around the turn, fought on from the two path in upper stretch, but evened out in the final sixteenth to show. DECREE AND DECLARE prompted the pace in the three path, bid under a drive midway around the turn, but flattened in the final furlong. IMAGE OF GRACE tracked from the rail but weakened in the two path down the lane. TEJAS EXPRESS laid in range between foes from the three path early, but retreated in the four path around the turn. AUNT JO was wellback in the four path but never menaced.
