Chart notes

CODE DUELLO cleared and crossed over to the inside then dueled with UNCLE HAPPY up the backstretch and around the turn, shook free at the top of the lane and maintained a clear lead to the wire. ENTERDADRAGON chased the top pair up the backstretch, came under a ride along the rail on the turn, moved off the fence in the lane and finished willingly to gain second and whittle the gap late. WIZARD OF WESTWOOD stalked the dueling leaders outside ENTERDADRAGON, roused in the two path on the turn, came out and bumped CARIBBEAN KING turning for home, drifted out and bumped that rival again midstretch and kept trying down the lane and earned third. CARIBBEAN KING got crowded between rivals early, trailed on the inside into the turn, tipped three wide around the bend, bumped with WIZARD OF WESTWOOD and got carried out into the stretch, took some more contact from that rival midstretch and failed to rally. UNCLE HAPPY got put in tight between rivals early, went up to duel from outside, failed to kick on with the winner at the top of the stretch and weakened in the lane. THERE WAS AN INQUIRY INVOLVING WIZARD OF WESTWOOD AND CARIBBEAN KING COMING INTO THE STRETCH. AFTER A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED THAT CARIBBEAN KING INITIATED THE CONTACT WITH WIZARD OF WESTWOOD AND THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
