SNOW BOOTS settled in the second flight to begin, roused three then four wide to upper stretch, responded well in the drive, was full of run late and edged clear in deep stretch. PROCEEDTOTHEFRONT broke alertly, vied for the early lead then dueled outside of HAPPY RANCH heading into the turn, shook free of that foe then kicked clear to upper stretch, was overhauled by the winner in deep stretch and just held for second at the wire. MENDELSSOHNS MUSIC off a step slowly, advanced between rivals into the turn, coaxed two wide to upper stretch, finished well in the drive, was caught in tight in deep stretch and just missed for second, while clear of the rest for third. UKRAINE STRONG hopped at the start and away a bit slowly, lacked speed to the turn, coaxed from the two to three path to upper stretch, passed tiring rivals late. HAPPY RANCH hard sent from the gate, dueled for early pace duties, vied inside of PROCEEDTOTHEFRONT into the turn, could not keep pace to upper stretch and gave way in the drive. ALL MARKED UP chased the early pace from the second flight, saved ground into the turn, could not keep pace along the bend, came up empty in the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and it was re-timed using video technology to obtain the most accurate final time available.
