Chart notes
BLAZING TO GOLD unhurried leaving the start then rushed four wide to the first turn, pressed the pace three deep along the backstretch, vied into the far turn, took a narrow lead nearing the top of the lane, shook free into the stretch, kept to task late. BLOCKED went up to contest the early pace from between foes, disputed the pace from the inside along the backstretch, dueled into the far turn, turned away by the winner into the stretch, held late for second. CORIE'S BOY took back in the early going, tracked the pace from the second flight along the backstretch, bid three to four wide to upper stretch, was outkicked in the lane but fought on late and held for third. HAIL STATE allowed to settle, swung four to five wide to upper stretch, found best stride late and missed for the minor awards. DAUX crowded at the start and off slowly, was void of early speed and trailed to the backstretch, made a steady advance to the far turn, caught a bit in tight nearing the top of the stretch, needed more in the final stages. BEER MONEY close up to the early pace, vied from the inside into the first turn, took back and tracked into the backstretch, was bottled up in traffic along the far turn, angled out to upper stretch, no late kick. LAUGH OF THE PARTY broke in at the start and crowded inner rival, showed good early speed, vied for the lead three wide and between foes to the backstretch, dueled into the far turn, stopped nearing the top of the lane, tired in the late stages. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and it was re-timed using video technology to obtain the most accurate final time available.
