Chart notes
LUMINOUS SECRET rubbed shoulders with SHINES MADELIN five wide through the first turn, found a tracking position up the backstretch, ranged up to contest the lead after half and take charge at the three eighths, opened up a few lengths in the upper stretch, held under steady urging along her inside lead. AS THE BELL TOLES was quick to claim a ground saving lead, came under pressure from ELOPER midway through the first turn, shook that one off at the half before meeting a bid from LUMINOUS SECRET, gave way to that foe at the three eighths, kept on for a clear second. SHINES MADELIN rubbed shoulders with LUMINOUS SECRET four wide in the first turn, travelled up the backstretch in the middle of the pack, backed off entering the far turn to save some ground, repositioned into the five path rounding the turn and closed willingly for the show award. WICKED KITTEN shadowed the early pace setter from along the inside, lacked a bid, flattened out in the stretch. ELOPER moved up through the first turn to press the early pace setter from the three path, began a slow retreat after the half mile marker, lacked a response from the rider's encouragement. MARGO'S MARGARITA broke a step slow, raced off the pace, was never involved. TURBO MILLIE settled off the pace between runners, steadily advanced four wide after the half mile marker, had no more for the stretch. AMORICA raced off the pace three wide, non factor.
