Chart notes
VANAKA chased the pace in the early stages, ranged up four wide through the turn for a competitive position at the top of the stretch, dug in late for a narrow victory. NIT WITNESS stalked the early pace three wide, took charge at the three eighths marker, came under pressure from VANAKA at the top of the lane, fought hard to repel that foe but was unsuccessful for a very gamely finish. ALYVIA MAVIS quickly assumed a narrow lead along the inside, met a couple bids from outer foes through the turn and gave way to both before entering the stretch, chased those dueling leaders down the lane while being clear of the rest for the show award. SWEET SUMMER LOVE tracked the pace four wide, lacked a response. MISSY'S MAP pressed the early pace between runners, began a slow retreat after the three eighths marker. SWEET AND FEISTY was outran.
