Chart notes
IRISH JIG tracked the pace three wide, closed in through the turn and took charge at the top of the lane, drove clear under minimal urging. SASSY SANGRIA stalked the early pace setter from the three path, bid for a brief lead at the quarter before giving way to the eventual winner, held for the place honors. DREAM EAGLE opted to be the early trailer, split foes rounding the turn, picked off a couple more in the stretch to earn the show award. BLAME AND FORTUNE was reluctant to load the starting gate, assumed early command, came under pressure from SASSY SANGRIA approaching the turn, gave way at the quarter and faded. LIZZY LIZ chased the pace from the inside, lacked a response to the rider's encouragement. MEDIUM COOL settled off the pace, trailed midway through the turn, never factored.
