Chart notes
SPIKEZONE was slow to leave the gate, moved up into a three wide stalking position before the turn, took charge at the top of the lane, floated in at the eighth, held sway under steady encouragement. BOLD DIVERSION pressed the early pace setter from the two path, claimed a brief lead between runners midway through the turn, tipped out to the three path at the eighth, held at bay by the winner. ST. JUDE opted to be the early trailer, found best stride late to improve. TWISTED RIDE was away swiftly, came under pressure through the turn and ultimately weakened in the stretch.
