Chart notes

UNINVITED GUEST was forwardly placed in the early running, stalked the pace to the first turn, lost a bit of ground nearing the half-mile marker, re-bid three wide into the far turn, took command at the quarter pole then kicked clear to upper stretch, drew off through the lane and was geared down while well in hand in deep stretch. OCALA DREAM hustled for the early lead, took command and showed the way to the first turn, carved out a decent pace while pressured along the backstretch, shook free of BOLD AMBITION into the far turn then was overtaken by UNINVITED GUEST nearing the quarter pole, was no match for the winner into the lane but was a clear second best. BOLD AMBITION settled off of the early pace, shifted out and made a three wide move into the backstretch, pressed the pace to the far turn then was outkicked to upper stretch, was no match for the top pair in the lane but ran on late and held safely for third. BANGKOK BOB settled off of the early pace, saved ground into the backstretch run, kept an inside path to the second turn, lacked the needed response at the quarter marker, did not factor in the stretch drive. DEBATE off a step slowly leaving the start, settled three wide to the first turn, caught four wide to the backstretch, unhurried to the half-mile marker, coaxed two to three wide along the far turn, trailed into the lane and did not threaten late.
