Chart notes
CONFISCATED away in good order and took early command, set a solid pace along the backstretch then kicked clear into the turn, dictated terms to the quarter marker, drew off while kept to task into upper stretch, held sway to the final sixteenth and coasted to the wire under late hand urging. GREAT RICHIE M bobbled at the start and last away from the gate, improved position while saving ground into the turn, kept an inside path to the stretch, was no match late for the winner but stayed on to be best of the rest. ONEOFTHEGOODGUYS hopped at the start and off a step slowly, settled in the second flight to begin, tracked the solid pace from the outside heading to the quarter marker, coaxed three wide to upper stretch, needed more into the lane, was outkicked in the final sixteenth for second and just held for third. WHISPER ROAR hustled to be forwardly placed early on, tracked the solid pace from the inside heading into the turn, ran in pursuit two wide to upper stretch, lacked the needed response at the furlong pole, gave way in the late stages and was outfinished for third. FINE DIAMOND crowded a bit at the start, settled off of the early pace then trailed into the turn, was last to upper stretch, did not factor in the stretch drive.
