Chart notes
BOBBY'S GIFT laid up close inside, held command passing the three-eighths pole, waited confidently around the far turn, was roused from the two path at the top of the lane, and kicked on to hold sway. BASSCOAT bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced off the pace inside, was ridden around the far turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the stretch, and rallied late while on the left lead for place. DOWNTOWN CONNECTOR rated in the three path, improved up the backstretch, ranged up under a ride in the three path around the far turn, took aim in the four path at the top of the lane, and finished evenly for show. FIRST SHOT FIRED bumped between foes at the start, chased in the four path, was driven around the far turn, floated out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, but made no impact. SKY KEY trailed in the five path, angled inside turning into the stretch, but did not threaten. HEAT LIGHTNING bumped with an inner foe at the start, set the pace in the two path, lost lead passing the three-eighths pole, then yielded down the lane.
