Chart notes
ENGLISH CHALLENGE had a slow start, stalked in the three path, loomed up to bid midway around the far turn, took the lead while being roused at the top of the lane, and clear in the final sixteenth. NO PROOF set the pace inside, was cued passing the three-eighths pole, lost the lead at the top of the lane, dug in gamely, but yielded around the sixteenth to place. BLOSSOMING tracked in the two path, lost ground while between rivals rounding the far turn, was cued passing the quarter, but flattened in the four path down the stretch.
