Chart notes
BROCK'S BOY well placed while saving ground in the early stages, tracked from the second flight heading to the half-mile marker, waited for racing room nearing the quarter marker, angled four wide to upper stretch, drew off through the lane, in hand late. STRUCK OUT settled while wide to the first turn, tucked to the three path along the backstretch while unhurried, roused to the far turn then swung five wide to upper stretch, was no match late for the winner, stayed on to be a clear second. RECOVERY MAN close up early on, tracked the moderate pace three wide to the backstretch, gave chase to the quarter marker, could not keep pace with the winner into the lane, was outkicked late for second and held safely for third. EL CHAVO hustled to be prominent early, stalked the moderate pace to the half-mile, chased between rivals into the far turn, lacked the needed response to upper stretch then was outkicked for the minor awards in the final sixteenth. JUST NATE squeezed back at the start and last away from the gate, settled while off of the rail into the first turn, coaxed two wide to the half-mile then saved ground to the far turn, swung to the four path to upper stretch and did not threaten late. LIL J. HENRY broke in at the start, showed good early speed and led to the first turn, carved out moderate fractions while prompted along the backstretch, showed the way into the far turn, battled to upper stretch then was overtaken and faded in the final furlong. LAWLESS WAYS settled in the second flight and between rivals early on, tracked the moderate pace to the half-mile, dropped back into the far turn and had little left for the stretch drive. MY LEO settled outside of rivals into the first turn, advanced four wide into the backstretch run, tracked the moderate pace to the half-mile pole, needed more approaching the quarter marker and tired in the stretch.
