Chart notes
HARD SPIRITS settled off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn, angled five wide to upper stretch, responded well in the drive, surged in the final sixteenth and was up in time. CHEYENNE MOON rated off of the early pace while never far back, roused four wide nearing the quarter marker, took command to upper stretch, drew clear into the final furlong, was all out into the final sixteenth, got nailed for the win in the final strides and was well clear of the rest for second. BIKINI BOTTOM hopped then threw her head at the start and was off slowly, made a steady gain between rivals into the turn, angled six wide to upper stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair into the final sixteenth, ran on late and held for third at the wire. MOR MOR MUSIC forwardly placed away from the start, went up to press the pace three deep into the turn, vied for the lead nearing the quarter marker then outkicked to upper stretch, ran in pursuit to the final sixteenth, weakened late. SPICY ITALIAN rushed up to contest the early pace, pressed the pace between foes into the turn, outkicked to upper stretch then chased to the furlong marker, could not find more to the final sixteenth and gave way late. BABY JANE allowed to settle early on, trailed into the turn, swung seven wide to upper stretch and did not rally late. NICELY UNIFIED hustled away from the start, vied for the early lead then took a narrow advantage along the backstretch, dueled from the inside heading into the turn, overtaken to upper stretch, was eased through the final furlong and walked off.
