Chart notes
ANCHO caught in tight and took up at the start, settled outside of rivals into the backstretch, tracked three to four wide to the far turn, roused and made a quick move to take command nearing the quarter pole, kept to task while clear into the stretch and held sway to the wire. CALL ME DOLLY broke out at the start, took command away from the start, set a prompted pace along the backstretch run, overtaken nearing the quarter marker, chased ANCHO into the stretch, could not make headway on the winner late and was an easy second best. MOMMA MIA prominent early on, attended to the modest pace into the backstretch, pressed into the far turn then was outkicked nearing the quarter marker, yielded to the top pair into the stretch, could not find more to the final sixteenth but held for third at the wire. SURPRISE ANGEL crowded at the start and off slowly, settled in the early going then trailed into the backstretch, got caught a bit in tight nearing the half-mile, chased outside of rivals into the far turn, swung widest to upper stretch, lacked the needed response to deep stretch and just missed for third. MISS MADDIE forwardly placed away from the start, tracked the early pace three wide and was well placed to the backstretch, gave chase into the far turn, could not match strides into upper stretch and weakened in the lane. EVE EVE crowded a bit at the start and was off a step slowly, settled and saved ground to the first turn, never far back along the backstretch, lacked the needed response when called upon into the far turn, gave way in the stretch drive.
