Chart notes
SPECIALSORTASTORM sped to the lead at the start and continued on top around the first turn, set the uncontested pace near the inside up the backstretch, continued clear still unleashed around the far turn, saved ground turning for home, shown the whip but never used and kept to task while ridden out. OWN THE FIELD saved ground around the first turn, settled inside and rated off the early leader, headed in pursuit with three furlongs left to run, continued to chase after the eventual winner two wide down the lane, put in a good effort but had to settle for second best. MINTASTIC was forwardly placed around the first turn, stalked the leader up the backstretch, came under a ride three wide mid-way around the far turn, ran on under pressure into the lane and cleared show. FORCED RANKING was reserved in the back through early stages, saved ground turning for home, came under a ride at the head of the lane and had no response. NULLARBOR raced three to four wide entering the first turn and remained forwardly placed up the backstretch, could not keep pace entering the far turn and retreated.
