Chart notes
MURSAL chased just off the inside coming under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, angled six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge inside the final furlong, seized command in the late stages and just held on over a late closing rival to the outside. SAILAWAY chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked four wide at the half mile pole and was placed to urging at that station, angled out seven wide into upper stretch, closed well outside latching on the top pair forty yards from home and just missed on the wire. SNIDE broke out at the start and was corrected coming under coaxing briefly from the gate, dueled early on from the five path before easing off a bit as HIGHER FORCE took over and decided to prompt that foe from the outside, tucked three wide into the turn and advanced to get back on near even terms three furlongs out, took over command with five-sixteenths to go and angled out five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive under threat to the outside first by MURSAL and then late on by the aforementioned foe, got collared forty yards from the finish and fought on inside that pair to the line. HIGHER FORCE dueled early on from the three path with SNIDE to her outside, took over sole command five and a half furlongs out and showed the way still under some pressure from that rival, tucked to the two path and had that foe advance and was placed to coaxing three furlongs out in response, got displaced from command at the five-sixteenths marker, swung three wide for home and weakened in the late stages. SWEET LAURA chased six paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the two path into the turn, got ridden along at the three-eighths pole, swung four wide into upper stretch and made no headway. PISTOL LIZ ABLAZEN chased six paths off the inside until tucked three wide half a mile from home, got placed to urging at the seven-sixteenths marker, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and trailed.
