Chart notes
FLEETFOOT (IRE) set the pace for the first circuit, then was passed on the turn entering the backside on the second circuit, rated kindle, then was boxed and blocked leaving the turn by the quarter pole, tipped out three wide for racing room to make a bid and kicked clear to prove best under a drive. THE JACKAL stalked the pace and then was rated kindly on the second circuit and made a bid to gain a short lead leaving the quarter pole and was headed by the winner and had to settle for being second best. INVESTMENT MANDATE was allowed to settle early and made a three wide move on the fat turn and ran on to best the rest. LORD FLINTSHIRE was well rated early and made an early bid to vie for command but weakened. SERIFOS was reserved early between rivals and passed the tiring rivals. BRITISH ROYALTY was reserved three wide and failed to menace. MICKEY SHILLELAGH was rated along on the first circuit, made a three wide middle move to take over but tired in the lane. T REX was reserved on the inside and tired.
