Chart notes
SPOKEN VOW broke sharply to be clear quickly, maintained the advantage throughout and held sway while weakening in the final hundred yards. OUT IN THE COLD prompted the pace to the head of the lane, rallied in upper stretch slowly cutting into the winner's lead but failed to gain the final measure. POPCORN N PEACHES was last away breaking a bit slow, made a steady rally swinging six wide in the lane and was gaining well in the final eighth. VOODOO lost some position on the turn and showed interest in the lane with a mild bid. HONORANDAPRAYER tracked the leaders to be well placed at the quarter pole and lacked a responsive bid in the stretch. MONTAGE BLUE went evenly failing to menace. TWIRLAWAY saved ground in mid-pack to no avail when weakening at the top of the stretch. HOPE SHE COMES trailed and was never a factor.
