Chart notes
KERNESS K shadowed the early pace setter, launched a four wide bid rounding the far turn to contest SILVER SLUGGER in the stretch, was carried out a bit by that one but was able to get the bob for the win. SILVER SLUGGER tracked the early pace five wide, bid for command midway through the turn and saved some ground to enter the stretch in the three path, fought hard to repel KERNESS K down the lane but drifted out under left handed urging and was nabbed at the line. DAUFUSKIE ISLAND stalked the early pace setter between runners, challenged the lead briefly midway through the turn, flattened out in the stretch and held for the show award. HE'S SIDE EYED stumbled at the start, trailed distantly for most, closed willingly along the outside to pick off a couple rivals. HELDISH was placed forwardly four wide, lacked a bid. NIGHT PREACHER quickly claimed early command, met a couple bids around the three eighths marker and surrendered to them, chased on in the upper stretch but faded fast in the final furlong.
