Chart notes
FINAL WAR bumped with a rival at the start and tracked the pace from the inside, then swung five wide into the upper and angled out late nearing the furlong marker and made a big late surge to prove best. BLACK VOLT pressed the pace from the outside of two other rivals in the three path and came four wide into the upper while assuming command in the stretch and drifted out but was outfinished by FINAL WAR deep in the stretch. STRONG POTENTIAL was settled mid-pack in the three to four path between rivals and was carried out through the deep stretch and just held the show award. DUTTON'S SONG was bumped at the start and settled back about two to three wide then tipped out through the stretch and just missed the show award. PAPA KEN pressed the pace from the two path while racing between opponents and just needed more in the stretch. EVERY THIRD DAY was slow through the early stages of the race and angled in from the four path to the inside nearing the bottom of the turn and cut the corner while improving mildly. FLASHOUT broke outwards and hopped slightly nearing the half mile marker and set a pressured pace from the inside but faded in the stretch. COLLEAGUE was off slow at the break and settled back mid-pack in the four path, then swung out widest into the upper but weakened in the stretch.
