Chart notes
SIR TOM had a bit of an awkward start but settled to the front and set a pressured pace from the inside and drew clear in the stretch to prove best. PERFECT DIAL chased the pace from the four path and started gaining nearing the bottom of the turn but was no match for the winner while being a clear second best. MARKS GOLDEN BOY broke inwards sharply and pressed the pace from the two path then weakened in the stretch while holding on to the show award. GYPSY J T was a step slow leaving the gate and settled back in the two to three path, then swung out about five wide into the upper and improved to the minor awards. SHANGHAI CHARLIE broke out and bumped with RIDDICK at the start then chased the pace from the three path but had no kick in the upper. GRAN CORREDOR was brushed at the start and shifted to the inside early off the pace and came two wide through the turn but had no bid. RIDDICK was bumped at the start and settled back in the five path, then came out far wide into the upper and was no menace. PRINCEOFTHEKNIGHT bolted at the break and trailed the field and was no factor.
