Chart notes
KANSAS SMOKE was forwardly placed around the first turn, tracked the pace up the backstretch, was ridden along two wide past the quarter pole, sustained two wide bid down the lane and cleared late. MAMA GLOWS raced in range through early stages, was set down three wide for the drive, steadily edged up closer in the final furlong and gained place. FREE DROP TABBY settled off the pace, swung five wide into upper stretch, ran on four paths wide down the lane and edged closer to the wire. PRETTY IRENE was reserved in the back, was ridden two wide late on the far turn, shifted wider entering the head of the lane, angled back in two wide and improved late. TRULY AUTHENTIC led the way around the first turn, set the uncontested pace up the backstretch, remained clear past the furlong marker then got overtaken late. MAGICA was forwardly placed around the first turn, stalked the pace up the backstretch, was ridden along the inside around the far turn, failed to progress under pressure and weakened in the lane. OVERTHROW raced off the pace, saved ground into the lane and had never threatened.
