Chart notes
TAP THE CARD JACK vied with NOT LIKE US for the lead from along the inside, shook that one off nearing the three-eighths pole and was ridden out to increase his advantage. COUSIN JOE saved ground while being allowed to settle, slipped through entering the stretch and finished in a mild rally. HIPPY GILMORE was forwardly placed early racing three-wide, dropped back slightly on the turn, angled in nearing the eighth pole and finished willingly. COOL LUCKY saved ground while being unhurried, angled out to be two-wide nearing the eighth pole and failed to seriously threaten. NOT LIKE US vied with TAP THE CARD JACK early from along the outside and tired. MUSIC MO was four-wide racing in the back to the field, came five-wide into the stretch and was not a factor.
