Chart notes
BEACH TRIPPIN dueled for the early lead while two wide into the turn then drew away in upper stretch and was ridden out in a confident ride in the end. LOUISIANA BARGAIN was unhurried early then rallied on the turn, swung out to be five wide in upper stretch and was gaining ground but was no match for the winner in the end. OAK HILL BOY chased the early pace while three wide into the turn, made a bid then faltered in the stretch drive. STANLEY LITTLE BOY was allowed to settle in the early going, rallied four wide on the turn making a bid but was no menace in the stretch. IRON FORTUNE raced three wide on the turn making a bid then was no menace in late stretch. TAUREAN dueled for the lead while inside, was in a long drive then faltered in the stretch drive. ONEMOTIME raced inside on the turn saving ground but faltered in the stretch. AUSTON GOT EVEN chased the early pace while two wide, was sued up and gave way on the turn. SAILOR MIKE turned head at the start and unseated rider in the gate, was walked off then declared a non starter. A steward's inquiry was held concerning the start. After reviewing the film's, the steward's declared SAILOR MIKE a non starter and all monies were refunded.
