ASAASY shadowed the early pace through the first turn, put pressure between foes up the backstretch, overtook the early pace setter alongside CONSECRATED after the half mile marker, battled that one through the far turn and stretch before inching clear in the final sixteenth. CONSECRATED stalked the pace four wide, claimed a brief lead at the half mile marker before being challenged by ASAASY, fought that foe until grudgingly giving way in the final sixteenth. NO REMATCH broke a step slow, moved up along the inside before the first turn and came into contact with MY UNCLE BILLY, changed lanes into the three path after exiting the first turn to shadow the contested pace, floated out a bit in the upper stretch before responding to the rider's right handed urging in the final furlong to close in for a competitive third. PRINSIPITO chased the pace from the inside early, pressed the pace after the first turn, dropped back through the far turn, flattened out in the stretch. AMERICAN VISION trailed through the first turn, steadily advanced along the inside of the backstretch, shifted out to the four path of the stretch but could not rally. MY UNCLE BILLY got in tight between foes entering the first turn, settled off the pace while travelling up the backstretch, lacked a response to the rider's encouragement in the far turn. PEYTON'S DAY settled off the pace three wide, trailed through the far turn, passed tiring foes in the stretch. MY HIGHMOON was off alertly to take charge in the path, came under immense pressure from both sides after the first turn, surrendered the lead after the half mile marker and showed little there on.
