Chart notes

MIGHTY ENTICING away in good order, vied for the early lead then ceded to DIG BABY DIG and stalked that foe through modest fractions to the backstretch, asked for run two wide at the quarter marker, took command at mid-stretch, drew clear into the final sixteenth, held sway to the wire. MRAZEK'S OLD DREAM broke alertly, took back into the first turn, was well placed while saving ground into the backstretch, kept an inside path to the second turn then angled three wide to upper stretch, chased the winner into the final furlong, could not make headway late on MIGHTY ENTICING and held on in the final strides for the place. POWER NAP hopped at the start and was a step slow to begin, settled in the second flight and outside of rivals early on, well placed to the half-mile, came under a ride while three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, churned on into the stretch, lacked a final kick and just missed for the place, while just holding for the show. HONOR SOCIETY lunged at the start and was last away from the gate, was unhurried to the backstretch, coaxed two wide into the far turn, gained ground into the stretch, chased between foes into the final sixteenth, lacked a final response in deep stretch and was outfinished for the minor awards. DIG BABY DIG hustled away from the start, vied for the lead three deep into the first turn, took command and set a modest pace to the half-mile, came under pressure nearing the quarter pole, overtaken to upper stretch, battled to the furlong grounds, faded late. ZEN YOGA settled while saving ground to the first turn, was a bit keen and on heels along that bend, saved ground while never far back along the backstretch, kept an inside path to the quarter marker, no response in the stretch. REAL MISCHIEVOUS broke out a step at the start, rated into the first turn then settled between rivals into the backstretch, shifted out and roused four wide into the far turn, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and tired in the drive.
