Chart notes
RING SEEKER broke alertly, ceded the early lead then prompted RUNHAPPY D'ORO through decent fractions heading into the turn, took command from the pacesetter into upper stretch, kept to task under steady urging into the final furlong, held sway while clear to the wire. TEXIAN DEVIL settled mid-pack and was well placed in the early going, saved ground into the turn, ran in pursuit into upper stretch then shifted out at the furlong marker, closed willingly to the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner late and was a clear second best. RUNHAPPY D'ORO sent for the early lead, took command and set a decent pace while prompted into the turn, was overtaken by RING SEEKER into upper stretch, chased the winner to the furlong grounds, yielded to the top pair into the final sixteenth but was a clear third at the finish. CAPE TRAFALGAR off slowly and spotted the field to begin, improved position into the turn then saved ground to upper stretch, could not impact the top three in the stretch drive and passed tiring rivals late. TED forwardly placed early on, stalked the early pace three deep, lost ground into the turn, chased two wide to the quarter marker, could not find more into the final furlong and weakened. SEND THE BOSS squeezed back at the start and off slowly, settled mid-pack then coaxed two wide into the turn, ran in pursuit to upper stretch, lacked a response at mid-stretch and did not threaten late. SIXHOOFSEVENHOOF broke a step slowly then was void of early speed, trailed into the turn and did not factor.
