Chart notes
STEELY EYE came away last and lagged a bit in opening stages, was ridden along, edged closer then was allowed to settle, picked up the tempo late on the turn, tipped five paths wide for the drive, responded willingly when called upon and got up late. TIME TO SING bobbled slightly at the start then tracked the early pace, crept closer near the quarter pole, was set down three to four wide at the head of the lane, steadily edged up closer and got edged in final strides. KILLIAN set a pressured pace up the backstretch, vied around the turn, shook clear turning for home, led the way into the final furlong then got overtaken late. PREACHER MAN SAM settled through early stages, saved ground entering the head of the lane, hustled along the inside in the stretch run and needed more for serious impact. CASH'S PAL raced in range through early stages, waited inside around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive and lacked a needed rally. STROLLNTOTHEMARKET broke sharp and pressed the early pace, vied around the turn, could not match strides turning for home but ran on then came up empty in the final furlong. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate times.
