Chart notes
LUCKY'S SECRET set a pressured pace up the backstretch, vied around the turn, held a slim lead into the final furlong, fought on gamely and just lasted. ICE AGAIN tracked the top pair into the turn, hustled along four paths wide into upper stretch, advanced into striking distance, dug in gamely with ears pinned back, was inching up on winner late and just missed. LAST DIAMOND raced in the second flight going by the half mile marker, angled to the rail around the turn, launched and inside bid at the head of the lane, advanced into striking distance then yielded. TRUE JEDI raced just off the second flight mid-way up the backstretch, swung four to five paths wide at the head of the lane, raced in strong contention but lacked the late needed surge to get by. SOCIAL SOONER pressed the pace in the opening quarter, vied around the turn then gave way in the lane. BUREAUCRATIC raced in the back throughout and had no response.
