Chart notes
AARON came away in good order and vied inside of HOLIDAY HOUSE for the early lead, continued to match strides around the turn, saved ground turning for home, lost a slight edge at the head of the lane, dug in under right handed pressure, quickly took back a slim lead, ran on determinedly and finished clear. HOLIDAY HOUSE vied outside of AARON up the backstretch and continued to battle around the turn, held a slight edge at the head of the lane, then got headed shortly after, continued to put in a good effort but failed to be a match late and had to settle for second best. BLOW TORCH raced in the second flight in the opening quarter, given cue three wide late on the turn, sustained a three wide bid down the lane and dug in gamely to capture show. EL SARGENTO rated off the early pace, swung four paths wide into the lane and got nipped for show. SEEKING SAWYER raced in the second flight along the inside, tipped two wide for the drive and evened out late.
