Chart notes
BAD JOKE set a pressured pace in the opening quarter, widened in hand around the turn, remained confidently handled two wide into the lane and held sway. UNITER tracked the early pace, hustled along three wide into upper stretch, sustained a determined two wide bid down the lane and edged closer to the wire. COMPREHEND rated off the early pace, saved ground around the turn, sustained an inside bid and held show. GIMME A CHANCE settled off the early pace, swung four wide into the lane, ran on three deep in late stages and just missed show. OSWALD was unhurried through up the backstretch, saved ground into the lane and lacked a needed rally. WERTHETHREEAMIGOS raced in the second flight in the opening quarter, weakened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive. PEPPAPETE pressed the early pace, weakened around the turn and dropped back in the lane. VEGASBORN raced in the back and never menaced.
