Chart notes
MIDSHAKIN got carried out four wide entering the first turn, settled in hand while nicely rated through early stages, edged closer three deep around the far turn, responded under left handed pressure at the top of the stretch, engaged STILLBILLY for the lead, dug in under firm handling and kicked clear. STILLBILLY took over the lead leaving the first turn and set the pace up the backstretch, held clear and saved ground around the far turn, fought back when challenged by MIDSHAKIN near the furlong marker, fought back gamely but could not match strides in the final sixteenth. INTO BATTLE was a bit keen and tugged while forwardly placed inside around the first turn, then settled while rated just off the early pace, saved ground, tipped out wider late on the far turn, set down three to four wide for the drive and prevailed for show. ACTUNG BABY was forwardly placed around the first turn and tracked the leader up the backstretch, raced between rivals around the far turn, put to a drive two wide at the head of the lane, showed response into the final furlong then evened out. CAUSE I'M ROLLIN raced off the pace, swung five paths wide at the top of the stretch and lacked a needed rally for impact. LEDBETTER tugged while a bit keen leading the way around the first turn, got collared entering the backstretch and settled while stalking the early pace, given cue along the rail around the far turn, failed to advance and dropped back in the lane. ROKU NANA never reched contention.
