Chart notes
COUSIN ED reserved off the pace along the inside, waited through the turn, drifted out three wide at the top of the lane, dove back to the inside when the rail opened in mid-stretch and closed well up the fence to be going away in the final hundred yards. RAMBLIN BETTS prompted the pace from between rivals racing two wide through the turn, rallied to overtake the pacesetter in upper stretch and fought on gamely while outfinished by the winner. SILVER ORE stalked the leaders from three wide , drifted out to the five path in the lane, found his best stride late to be gaining in the final sixteenth. PARTY AT THE BEACH set a pressured pace to the top of the lane and weakened in the final eighth. HE'S A PISCES trailed down the backside, closed the gap on the bend while still at the back on the inside in the turn and closed mildly in the stretch. MY PAL MAX was taken to the outside on the backstretch, continued to race wide turning for home and failed to mount a closing rally.
