Chart notes
KENMORE WEST settled just off the pace while four wide into the first turn, edged up to the pacesetter down the backside to press, took command nearing the quarter pole, repelled the re-bid of the runner up in mid-stretch and pulled clear in the final sixteenth. TAKE CHARGE J J pressed the pace for the first three-eighths, assumed command down the backside, battled the winner turning for home on the lead, could not go with that one, tried again to challenge gamely in mid-stretch but was repelled again having to settle for second best. CAJUN MITOLE was tucked in behind the leaders in the three path to be well place, remained in striking distance to the top of the stretch and kept-on evenly, lacking a closing kick. BIG CHOPPER trailed much of the way and showed some late interest without impact. JEFFROW passed weaker rivals late while never posing a threat. CALICOCO set the pace to the five-eighths pole and steadily faded from contention after a half mile. GAMER NATE made a mild early move down the backstretch, flattened out on the far turn and gave way coming home.
