Chart notes
NOPENOTTONIGHT sped to the lead shortly away from the gate, opened a clear lead while setting a fast pace, maintained that advantage throughout and was never challenged. CRITICAL THREAT unhurried early to be well off the pacesetter, rallied leaving the three-eighths pole closing the gap, overtook the balance of the field to be second best without posing a threat to the winner. LIKE THIS stalked the winner to the top of the lane and lacked a closing response. BUTLER CABIN trailed for the first half mile, saved ground on the far turn to no avail being only able to pass weakened rivals in the lane. THE BOSS SOSS tracked the leaders onto the backstretch, made a mild middle move to pull into contention and flattened out on the final turn. IRON IN THE FIRE raced in early contention and faded to the rear after the first half mile.
