Chart notes
JESTER SANG tracked the leader up the backstretch, engaged rival for the lead mid-way around the turn, vied into upper stretch, shook free approaching the furlong marker, challenged late by DRESS GOOD, dug in and held firm. DRESS GOOD raced in contention up the backstretch, continued in the second flight near the inside around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive, made a late move for the winner but failed to get by. OSWALD was reserved in the back, hustled along four wide into upper stretch and got up late for show. PEPPAPETE set the pace up the backstretch, challenged for the lead mid-way around the turn, fought back to the eighth pole then gave way. DI RISATA MOLTO raced in range along the rail, got in tight quarters and steadied entering the turn, launched a two wide rebid in upper stretch nut needed more for impact. PROBABLY was not too far back early along the outside, raced in the second flight around the turn and failed to kick on in the lane.
