Chart notes
GUS'S GAL rated just behind the leaders along the inside to midwaay on the turn, was put to an early drive while angling out to close the gap on the pacesetters, was bumped by rival on the bend, kept momentum going and steadily wore down the leader inside the sixteenth pole to be going away at the wire. LADY HARRIET stalked the pacesetter to the five-sixteenths pole, rallied to take command turning for home, opened a clear lead and was run down by the winner late in the lane. A ROSE FOR SKYLER sped up the fence to take the lead after an eighth, opened a clear advantage down the backside, was collared by the top pair at the head of the lane and could not match them while weakening in the stretch. STARSHIP LEGACY trailed early and came home evenly lacking a closing response. PRINCESS HONOR was not a threat. STARSHIP DISCOVERY tracked the leaders from four wide through the turn, bumped the winner approaching the quarter pole causing the rider to lose balance falling from his mount and horse and rider both walked off.
